Frequently Asked Questions

What we take, what we won't, how pricing actually works, and what happens after we load the truck.

What we take, and won't

What kinds of junk do you take?

Furniture, appliances, mattresses, garage clutter, storm debris, estate contents, and general household or office junk. See our truck-volume pricing for the full breakdown of what fits each load size.

What won't you take?

Hazardous materials: paint, chemicals, solvents, propane tanks, and anything that reads as asbestos, common in older Old Town and North End homes with original floor tile or pipe wrap. We also don't take active construction or demolition debris from renovation work, that needs a dumpster rental, not a haul-away.

Do you take tires or car parts?

A few tires as part of a larger load, yes. A pile of tires as the whole job, generally no, since tire disposal runs through a different facility than general junk. Ask when you call and we'll tell you straight.

Can you take items from a shed or detached garage?

Yes, that's a normal part of estate and hoarding cleanouts especially. Tell us about outbuildings when you describe the job so we quote the full property, not just the house.

How pricing and payment work

How is the price actually decided?

By truck volume: quarter, half, or full truck, using the ranges on our pricing page. We estimate a tier on the call, then confirm the exact price on-site before we load anything.

Do you charge a trip fee if I decide not to go through with it?

No. If you see the confirmed on-site price and decide against it, you owe nothing. We'd rather you walk away than feel pressured into a job you're not comfortable with.

How do I pay?

Card or cash on completion of the job, once the final price is confirmed. Commercial and property-management accounts can arrange invoice billing, see our commercial cleanouts page for details.

Do you offer discounts for donation-eligible items?

We route usable furniture and household goods to local donation centers when volume and condition allow, at no extra charge, though it doesn't change the truck-volume price since the labor and trip cost the same either way.

Timing & scheduling

How does the same-day cutoff actually work?

Call or submit the form before noon on a weekday and we'll try to route you into that afternoon. See our same-day page for the full explanation of how the cutoff plays out.

Are you open on Sundays?

No, we're closed Sundays. Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm, is our standing schedule.

How far in advance should I book an estate cleanout?

A few days ahead is ideal, since we like to do a walk-through before quoting a whole-property job. Rush jobs are possible depending on the week's schedule, just ask.

Recycling & disposal

Do you recycle instead of dumping everything?

Where it makes sense, yes, especially scrap metal from appliances and large furniture frames. General household junk that isn't recyclable goes to standard disposal, either the Beaumont landfill or a commercial facility depending on volume.

Why can't the city's own bulk trash pickup handle everything?

Beaumont's weekly heavy trash service is limited to single-family residences and specifically excludes lumber, shingles, siding, insulation, and scrap metal. That material has to be self-hauled to the landfill or handled by a private hauler, which is where we come in.
